Chat Room

I have put up a chat room for people to talk to each other. It is nothing fancy, just a chat room for people to hang out and chat.

I plan to expand the chat room in to a game lobby for our users. Right now everyone is in the same room and only public chat is enabled.

You do not need an account here at BurgZerg.com to use the chat room. You can log in using any name you wish. As of this writing, the char server will hold a max of 20 concurrent connections. This can be throttled up to an unlimited amount of users with the purchase of a license, but for now I wanted to test the server (I am using SmartFoxServer Pro for those interested) to see what I can do with it, and if it will meet my needs for what I want to do.

I would appreciate it if people used it a fair bit over the next few days so I can log just how much resources the chat sever takes on its own.

The chat room will require that you have the Unity Web Player installed (this will be what lets you play the games on BurgZerg.com).

I will be starting the games as soon as I get enough data on how the server acts with 20 people on it chatting away for a period of time.

So if you have a few minutes to spare, log in to the chat room and and say hello to your fellow BurgZerg users.

The chat room can be found here as well as in the menu bar.
