Poppy's Place

Today is the first day of my maternity leave. I promised Petey I'd start a blog once I was done with work so we could try out this feature of the new website. I'll start out with a little introduction of myself so you'll know something about me.

Petey and I have been married for five years now. We met playing Asheron's Call a few years before that. We are now expecting our first born on February 10. I work at Barnes and Noble and Petey is a full time student studying computer programing. We have three Australian Cattle Dogs and a cat who wishes we didn't.

Petey and I play on the Meneldor server, but we aren't members of any kins but our own so we don't know a lot of people there. I love housing, so I spend a silly amount of gold on rent. The Adventurers Guild is our kinship, but we split our hobbits off to form Burgzerg as a kinship too and hope to buy a kin house for it this month.

I am a classic altaholic. I have nine characters and rotate through them on a regular basis. I have been playing much less since I got pregnant, so my progress with each of them has been very slow. Right now my belly is so big I have quite a reach to get to the keyboard! I can't get comfortable in my computer chair no matter how many pillows I try. I hope to be playing and posting a little every day though, at least until the baby is here.
