Valentine's Screenshot Contest

Are you in the mood for love? Can you feel the romance all around you in the game? Then now is the perfect time to enter our LOTRO Valentine's Screenshot Contest! Send us your Valentine-themed screenshots and a short description (100 words or less), and you could win a custom title on the Codemasters forums! Entries will be accepted in the following categories:

I <3 LOTRO - Show your love for LOTRO!
Cupid's Arrow - Hunters grab your bows, and let's see your best Cupid-inspired screenshots!
Perfect Pair - Can you capture the most romantic couple?
Most Romantic Individual - Do you have the look...of love?
Most Romantic Kinship - Steal our hearts with a shot of your Kin!

The contest runs from February 10th through February 15th. Entries must be received by Codemasters by 11:59PM UK time (GMT) February 15th, 2011. One winner from each category will be announced on the Codemasters website and forums on February 23rd, (5 winners overall). Eligible winners will receive a special forum title ("I <3 LOTRO" or "Hopeless Romantic") and 500 Points to spend in the LOTRO Europe Store.

Screenshots must be original and unedited (cropping is allowed) and should have a resolution of at least 1024x768. Here are some tips for taking screenshots:

• You can zoom in to a first-person view with the mouse-wheel
• The number pad or right mouse button can be used to adjust the camera angle
• F11 or CTRL-P takes your screenshot
• Screenshots are stored in My Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online
• The F12 button will remove the UI

To enter the LOTRO Europe Valentine's Screenshot Contest, send your entry to lotrocompetition@codemasters.com with the subject line " Valentine's Screenshot Contest ". All entries must include the category for which it is being entered, the player's name, date of birth, e-mail address, primary player and/or forum name (if any), names of characters in the screenshot, and desired name(s) to credit (i.e., real name, player name or forum name). You may enter as many submissions as you wish. One entry per email. LOTRO EuropeStore Points will be awarded to the person that sends the winning submission.
